Big Willy Style's week 2 recap

  • The Redskins finally figured out how to play offense this week, after a miserable pre-season and week 1. It remains to be seen if they can consistently compete in the league's best divison
  • No Osi, no Strahan, no problem. Justin Tuck is quickly becoming the league's most feared defensive force. Look for plenty of double and triple teams coming his way as the league picks up on it
  • The Colts incredible rally in the 4th quarter against Minnesota may have saved their season. As I said before this team is at its best when they are up against it
  • Darren Mcfadden offically introduced himself to the NFL in week 2, and with Justin Fargas getting banged up, look for more of the same
  • I'm telling you the Buffalo Bills are legit, they will only go as far as Trent Edwards will take them however, and from his performances the first two weeks, the sky is the limit.
  • Is there a worse franchise in sports than the Detroit Lions? Even after an impressive rally in the 4th quarter by taking the lead, they still manage to lose by 20 plus, unreal.
  • You think Vince Young was depressed before? He doesnt seem to have the support from his fans and most importantly his coach, as they clearly have more confidence in Kerry Collins at this point in time.
  • The Panthers played the worst first half you can possibly play in the NFL against the Bears, and still won, a sign of resilient, solid football team.
  • The Bears cannot possibly have success this season until they figure out the art of the forward pass.
  • Welcome back to earth Matt Ryan. He got his first dose of playing a solid defense on the road in the NFL and failed miserably.
  • The seattle seahawks are 0-2 and just gave up 33 points to the 49ers of all teams, yuck. Their reign in the NFC west is over.
  • Hate to admit it but there wasnt a bigger statement in week 2 than the one made by the Pats against the team they kept hearing was going to overtake them in the AFC East.
  • You'll be hard pressed to find a better game this season than the Chargers/Broncos thriller. Much congrats to Mike Shanahan with a ballsy call that paid off with that 2 point play, what a treat to watch.
  • The Arizona Cardinals are 2-0 for the first time since in what seems their entire existence. Kurt Warner continues to play well this good be a dangerous squad.
  • The Steelers defeated the Browns yet again and you gotta wonder why the Brownies have so many damn national TV games, that was a mistake.
  • What an incredible Monday night game we had last night, but both the Eagles and Cowboys have to be concerned about their pass defense that they both invested much money in improving in the offseason.
