Big Baby Dean's Pickslip 9/18 - 9/20

5* Michigan State (-8.5) vs Notre Dame 3:30pm

This is my NCAA pick of the week. Notre Dame on the road versus a physical Michigan State team??? I like Michigan State big in this game and there is no hurricane this week to stop them from rolling Notre Dame. Javon Ringer and the Michigan State defense will be too much for Notre Dame this weekend in East Lansing. Pick: Michigan State (-8.5)

3* Arizona (-3.5) @ UCLA 3:00pm

Once PAC 10 doormats, Arizona will be one of the surprise teams in the conference this year. And why not get it started at UCLA in the first conference game on the road. I think it is going to take UCLA a few more weeks to bounce back from the loss. Also, Willie Tuitama is a Senior this year and has looked good early. This Arizona team has too much offense in which the Bruins cannot match. Go against the home dog in this one.
Pick: Arizona (-3.5)

2* Virginia Tech (+3.5) @ North Carolina 3:30pm

Just like my Colorado pick on Thursday Night, here is another upset you can circle this week. I am fading last week's Thursday winner UNC who demolished Rutgers. This is an important game for both teams and I think we will see a little Beamer ball to get it done. North Carolina will struggle this game as they finally play a real team this year. Take the points and make sure you get the hook. Pick: Virginia Tech (+3.5)

1* Wake Forest (+5) @ Florida State 7:00pm

I can see this game going to overtime and someone losing by 3pts. Wake Forest plays everyone tough and I am not sold on Florida State yet. They need to prove something first. Riley Skinner knows how to win on the road and Wake Forest has had FSU's number lately. Take the points.
Pick: Wake Forest (+5)

3* West Virginia @ Colorado (+3) Thursday, 8:30PM

This is one upset game I have been eying this week. It may be just a hunch, but it is the same hunch I got when picking ECU over both Va Tech and WVU. I do not like West Virginia on the road facing a BIG 12 opponent - especially in the high altitudes of Boulder, Colorado. This is Colorado's only HOME game on Thursday night of the year and it will be BLACKOUT night at Folsom Field. It will be an insane atmosphere. Colorado gets experienced TE Riar Greer back tonight and he will help Cody Hawkins out in the passing game. Cody Hawkins is a gamer and knows how to win. Look for the Freshman RB combo of Darrell Scott and Rodney Stewart to keep the chains moving and tire out the WVU defense. Pat White and Noel Devine need to get going early in this game. The WVU rushing game has looked out of sync the last few games. They did have a long time to prepare for this game, but I do not think this is WVU's night. If the big guys up front for Colorado can slow down White and Devine, Colorado will win this game outright. Let the tanking begin in Boulder!
Pick: Colorado (+3)

Enjoy this weekends college games as this is when the real fun will start. There are so many crazy divisional matchups and it will only get better. Look out for my NFL Picks later on Saturday.

Good Luck!
